Where You’ll Travel in Sri Lanka

This Sri Lanka yoga and pilates retreat takes you through the country’s most iconic and diverse regions — from the cultural heart of Sigiriya and Dambulla, to the misty tea hills of Ella, and the historic coastline of Galle.

This multi-destination journey allows you to experience the full depth of Sri Lanka — not just one location.

Each destination is intentionally chosen to create a balance of movement, culture, nature, and deep rest.

Wellness & Movement on Retreat:

Wellness isn’t an add-on here — it’s woven into every day.

Mornings begin with movement — yoga, breathwork, and grounding practices designed to support your body as you journey through the island.

This is about regulation and integration.
So you can move, explore, and experience it all — without feeling depleted.

Most journeys leave you exhilarated but exhausted.
This one is designed differently.

With a rhythm of movement and stillness, your energy stays steady, your body supported, and your experience fully felt.

You don’t just see Sri Lanka.
You move with it.
You breathe with it.
You leave changed by it.

Coming solo? You’ll feel at home here.

Many guests join our retreats on their own.

Something beautiful happens when a small group of like-minded people gather in an extraordinary place.

Strangers become friends.
Conversations deepen quickly.
And many leave with connections that last far beyond the retreat.

By the end of the journey, it rarely feels like you arrived alone.

✨ Over 70% of our guests join solo.

This retreat is my love letter to Sri Lanka — and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Every detail of this journey has been thoughtfully considered — from the rhythm of each day, to the places we stay, to the energy of the group we create together.

Sri Lanka Yoga & Pilates Retreat FAQs

THE EXPERIENCE

Do I need to have practiced yoga or pilates before?
Not at all. This Sri Lanka yoga and pilates retreat is designed to be inclusive for all levels. Whether you’re completely new or returning to your practice, you’ll be guided with clarity and care.

This experience is less about perfect poses and more about presence, regulation, and feeling grounded in your body.

Is this retreat suitable for all fitness levels?
Yes. While this journey includes sightseeing, light hikes, and daily movement practices, everything is designed to be accessible and supportive.

You don’t need to be “advanced” in yoga or particularly athletic — just open to moving your body and exploring at a steady, enjoyable pace. Options are always offered, and you’re encouraged to listen to your body throughout.

What type of yoga and movement is included?
This retreat blends grounding yoga with strength-based pilates and nervous-system-supportive practices. Movement is woven throughout the journey to support both energy and deep rest.

Will there be a lot of travel between locations?
Sri Lanka is beautifully diverse, which means we journey through coastlines, highlands, and cultural regions.

All transfers are thoughtfully planned and fully coordinated, so you can relax and enjoy the experience. Travel days are balanced with movement and rest, ensuring the rhythm never feels rushed.

COMMUNITY & SUPPORT

I’m travelling solo — will I feel comfortable?
Absolutely. Many of our guests join solo. Retreats naturally foster connection through shared experiences, group activities, and intentional space.

You’ll be warmly welcomed into a like-minded community from the moment you arrive.

What level of support will I have on retreat?
You’ll be supported throughout your entire journey with a dedicated host, local guides, and full in-destination assistance.

From logistics to wellbeing, everything is designed to feel seamless so you can fully relax into the experience.

Is this retreat only for women?
Yes — this 2026 intake is a women-only retreat, creating a supportive and connected group dynamic.

What makes this Sri Lanka retreat different?
This is not a typical Sri Lanka yoga retreat. It’s a thoughtfully curated journey that blends movement, cultural immersion, and nervous system support — so you return home feeling expanded, not exhausted.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Do I need a visa for Sri Lanka?
Most travellers will require a tourist visa to enter Sri Lanka. The process is simple and can usually be completed online prior to arrival via the official Sri Lanka ETA website.

We’ll guide you through this after booking to ensure everything is organised with ease.

How long can I stay in Sri Lanka on a tourist visa?
Tourist visas typically allow stays of up to 30 days, with the option to extend if needed.

As our retreat is 8 days, this is more than sufficient for your stay.

Are there any entry requirements I should be aware of?
Entry requirements can change, so we recommend checking official government advice closer to your travel date.

We’ll also provide up-to-date guidance once you’ve secured your place, so you feel fully prepared before you arrive.

Do I need any vaccinations for Sri Lanka?
There are no mandatory vaccinations required for entry for most travellers, however we recommend consulting your healthcare provider for personalised advice prior to travel.

What travel documents do I need?
You’ll need a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from your arrival date, along with your visa approval and travel insurance.

We’ll provide a simple checklist to ensure everything is covered before your departure.

You don’t need to become someone new to feel whole. You just need to remember who you are
