Meet Courtney
Founder of Holistic Escapes.
Retreat leader.
Yoga teacher.
Guide for travel that nourishes rather than depletes.
What began as burnout became a turning point — a quiet return to presence, intentional movement, and a slower, more conscious way of experiencing the world.
That return changed everything.
How I guide
I believe travel should expand you — not exhaust you.
And wellness should integrate you into a place — not remove you from it.
Every retreat I design follows a deliberate rhythm:
Movement to regulate your nervous system.
Exploration to engage your curiosity.
Space to integrate what you’ve experienced.
We don’t rush.
We don’t perform transformation.
We create the conditions for it.
Experience & Leadership
Over the past several years, I’ve guided hundreds of guests across immersive retreats in:
• Sri Lanka
• The Maldives
• Bali & Sumba
• Byron Bay
Each destination offers something different.
The philosophy remains consistent.
Intentional pacing.
Grounded leadership.
Spaces that feel safe, expansive, and deeply considered.
I hold formal certifications in:
200hr Yoga Teacher Training
300hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training
Pilates Mat Certification
50 hr Yin Yoga & Restorative Practicioner Training
Breathwork Practitioner
Somatic Mind-Body Healing practicioner
Nervous-system supportive practices
Continued education and responsible space-holding matter to me deeply. Every retreat is built on both beauty and integrity.
Beyond Retreats
Retreat spaces changed my life — but transformation doesn’t only happen abroad.
That’s why I also share online practices for those wanting to move, breathe, and reconnect wherever they are.
You can practice with me on YouTube — including my 30-minute class filmed at our Maldives Radiance Retreat yoga deck.

This is the first of many classes to come.
Why Holistic Escapes Exists
Holistic Escapes was created for those who crave depth.
Not spectacle.
Not excess.
Not rushed itineraries.
But travel that feels immersive, restorative, and alive.
You don’t leave as someone new.
You leave more yourself.
